I am a person in long term recovery from SUD/AUD. My journey dragged me through guilt, shame, grief, lawlessness and homelessness. Since finding recovery I have dedicated myself to the certified peer movement and work diligently to use my experience to inspire hope in others.
I deeply cherish the beautiful life I've found in long term recovery. I love helping people realize that they too, are worthy of recovery. I strive to do everything in love, and with a sense of humor.
As a woman in long term recovery my life is so much more than just staying sober. Today I have meaningful relationships. I enjoy my life. I take care of my mental, physical and spiritual health. When I was actively using, I was just a shell of a person. I had lost everything countless times. I ripped relationships apart and caused destruction. Linda A. LeBlanc, Ph.D., BCBA-D, Licensed Psychologist is the President of LeBlanc Behavioral Consulting and the past Editor in Chief of the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis. Her 25 year career has included academic positions at Claremont McKenna College, Western Michigan University and Auburn University as well leadership positions in human services organizations. She established LeBlanc Behavioral Consulting in 2017 and consults to technology companies, universities, and behavior analytic human service organizations. Her professional interests include behavioral treatments, supervision and mentoring, and ethics. She is a Fellow of ABAI and is the 2016 recipient of the APA Nathan H. Azrin Award for Distinguished Contribution in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Jesse is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Florida, and a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Florida. For over 20 years Jesse has been developing and testing technology-based behavioral interventions to promote health behavior. He pioneered the development of digital contingency management for smoking cessation. He is a fellow in Division 25 of the American Psychological Association and the Association for Behavior Analysis International. At the University of Florida, he teaches a range of courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and he has mentored numerous doctoral students.
Lindsey is a graduate researcher in the Department of Psychology at the University of Florida, and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Behavior Analysis and is currently pursuing a PhD in Behavior Analysis. She has nearly a decade of experience practicing behavioral therapy. Her research interests include the application of technology-based interventions to improve health behaviors and the utilization of contingency management strategies to promote behavior change.
